Dennis McCarthy has been the Global Link Manager at Bryant University since 1997. In his position, Dennis coordinates the activities of staff, consultants and strategic partners in both the US and abroad while managing international business development projects on behalf of clients. Industries served include medical equipment, industrial fasteners and screws, consumer window treatments, specialty chemicals, jewelry and software. Dennis co-wrote the program plan for a $1 million videoconference facility and manages all program activity for academic, corporate and K-12 program activity. He also manages the Knowledge Grant which provides international business content via live web casts and on-demand streaming video.

Prior to joining Bryant, Dennis was the founder and president of Open Borders, Inc., which conducted domestic and international market research on behalf of clients seeking new business and strategic partners. In addition, he co-founded an association of videoconferencing professionals in Rhode Island and has presented on best practices of videoconferencing and streaming video at national conferences. Dennis has a BS in Business Management from the University of Rhode Island .
